The substances 1-propanol and benzalkonium chloride work against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and many viruses
Wat moet u in gedachten houden voordat u Logic Germ gebruikt?
When benzalkonium chloride is used locally, it is well tolerated. This means that subsequent skin contact with the treated surfaces will not cause damage.
Efficiency of benzalkonium chloride
Benzalkonium chloride is an aseptic medicine and is similar to soap. The active substance is a large molecule that has a cationic compound with positive electrical charge. Because of its shape and charge, benzalkonium chloride is soluble in water and fat. Logic Germ therefore fits well into the cell walls of the bacteria. The active substance makes the cell membranes permeable and ensures that the bacteria burst. This inhibits the growth of the germs and then kills them. Benzalkonium chloride is a broad spectrum of activity for the detection of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, yeasts and other viruses.
The advantage of LogicGerm compared to pure alcohol disinfectants is the low alcohol percentage, reduction of fire hazard, as well as the considerably longer duration (up to three months). Surfaces and substances that have been cleaned with normal alcohol disinfection can be germinated again immediately afterwards (infected). LogicGerm leaves behind a very thin active layer. As a result, it offers protection for several days to months even when the layer diminishes.
Logic Germ can be applied with a spray or cloth until the entire surface is covered with the product. Logic Germ has an exposure time of 1-15 minutes. The exposure time is essential.
